Andrew Prophet

DEFENSIVE LINE

Coach Andrew Prophet enters his third season as a Staples Football coach and the first season on the Varsity staff as the Defensive Line Coach.

Coach Prophet grew up in Norwalk, CT and then played football at St. John’s Univeristy. After receiving his master’s degree from St. John’s, Coach Prophet coached in the Norwalk Youth Football program before becoming the President of the Norwalk Football Junior program in 2021.

 Coach Prophet became the defensive coordinator for the Freshman football program at Staples High in

2022. In 2025, Coach Prophet will be on the Staples Football Varsity staff assisting with the defensive

line. He will also continue assisting the Junior Varsity Lacrosse program at Staples as the Defensive

Coordinator.

Coach Prophet also has a long career working in the insurance and financial planning industry.
